Congrats to Our
2018 Texas Foundations Fund Selected Partners
|
|
On September 20th, TSAHC's
Board of Directors approved the 2018 Texas Foundations Fund nonprofit partners. Each nonprofit partner will receive a matching grant of $14,500, for a total of $348,000 in matching grants awarded in 2018.
Nonprofit partners will utilize their matching grants to provide critical home repairs, as well as case management, job training, and other supportive housing services, for very low-income Texans who have a disability or are located in a rural community.

We would like to introduce the newest TSAHC team members. We're excited to have them on board and hope you have an opportunity to interact with them soon!
Cassandra Ramirez, Development Finance Specialist, has more than ten years of experience in affordable housing development, finance, and operation. She previously worked for an affordable housing nonprofit serving central east Austin. Cassandra graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning and has a Masters of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.
Donnetta McGrew, Single Family Compliance Specialist, is an Austin native and veteran of the United States Army having served in Paris and Germany. She has more than ten years of experience in the mortgage industry and has an Associates degree in Business Administration.
Lacy Brown, Executive Assistant/Corporate Secretary, previously worked as an enforcement specialist for the Pharmacy Board and as a Staff Service Officer for the Dental Board.
Frank Duplechain III, Homeownership Programs Specialist, is a former banker and has experience assisting clients in the home buying process and providing financial education resources. He holds a degree in Organizational Studies from Louisiana State University.

Grants from HEART are available in two categories: housing repairs and programming. Organizations may apply for both, but award amounts are capped at $50,000 per organization.
