PERSONNEL MATTERS
Referral bonus program
The Transportation Department awarded a $50 referral bonus to Jasmine Perry, a driver for Wea Ridge Middle and Burnett Creek Elementary.

Employees interested in the referral bonus need to make sure the applicant mentions the employee in the job application. The bonus is awarded when driver candidates make their first route.

TSC State of Mind

You may have recently seen a post from @WeAreTeachers titled “The 7 Types of Rest We All Need” found here. This post and other articles currently circulating are great reminders that rest is not only integral to our mental health, but is also unique and individual to each person.
TSC State of Mind
Rest includes restoration, meaning not only do we sometimes need to rest “from” things, but we may also need to rest “in” them. That includes taking part in those activities that rejuvenate and restore us. For more information, check out this article.

INSPIRATION MATTERS
with Kathy Nimmer

I don't have a formal bucket list, but I do have a dream: to attend the Olympics in person one day. I'm eyeing 2028 in Los Angeles for that! The athletes who will compete there are names we've not even heard yet, individuals toiling away out of the spotlight. New special education teacher at McCutcheon, Josh Strasser, wrote this in a recent email to me: "I continue to have little victories that I know will be big victories down the road." He wrote this about teaching, yet his words could apply to future Olympians too...and to all of us. It's about trusting the process with certainty that a distant triumph is only possible one small moment at a time.
