Thousands of educators participated in the Red for Ed rally yesterday at the Indiana Statehouse. Many TSC educators were among those seeking to have their voices heard by lawmakers on issues like school funding and standardized testing.

The cancellation from November 19 will be made up on Monday, February 17, a built-in makeup day. Any future school cancellations will be made up by adding days to the end of the school calendar.

The Public Schools Foundation of Tippecanoe County awarded grants to four TSC teachers. The winners of the fall 2019 Seeds for Excellence grants are:

- Aliya Scott, Battle Ground Middle - Sewing Seeds and Closing the Gap - $800
- Lisa Goodman, Battle Ground Elementary - Eggs-cellent Adventure - $2000

TSC names assistant principal for Hershey Elementary

Holocaust education opportunity

The Greater Lafayette Holocaust Remembrance Committee is sponsoring the Gedalyah Engel Education Award for teachers in Tippecanoe and surrounding counties.

Small expressions of gratitude like saying “thank you,” or letting someone out ahead of you in traffic contribute to a regulated brain state. “Pay attention to that which you feel grateful for."
