INSPIRATION MATTERS
With Kathy Nimmer
Earlier
this week, I read a Facebook post from a friend who shared the forecast for the big upcoming snowstorm. His message was full of excitement. When I commented on his post, his reply to my comment said, “Time to read a good book.” This reply made me smile. While this friend will surely struggle through shoveling, inconvenience, and all of the complications winter brings, his main source of joy about being snowed in was a chance to have uninterrupted reading time. This was a good reminder to me that we choose our responses in every circumstance, which means we have a chance to make each moment our own.
