TECHNOLOGY MATTERS
Fall break password reset
Your first line of defense when using technology is maintaining strong, secure passwords to protect your computer, your data, your students' data, and other systems throughout the TSC.

All TSC employees will be required to reset their TS Network/Google password when they return from fall break on Tuesday, October 22. Passwords can only be reset when connected to the TSC Network. If you won't be on campus on the 22nd, please navigate to https://tscvdi.tsc.k12.in.us/ , select HTML access, then follow the prompts to reset your password.

New passwords must meet certain complexity requirements and must be unique from previously used passwords. Here are a few tips for creating strong passwords. Please do not make note of your password in a location that's accessible by others.

More information about this requirement can be found in this document .

October - Mindfulness: where to turn to learn
Being mindful can be a healthy practice but it can also be daunting if you don’t know what it is and how to incorporate it. Click here to see where you can turn to learn more about mindfulness.

Mindfulness Matters
Teachers are increasingly interested in incorporating mindfulness practices in their classrooms but often wonder where or how to start. Stop, Breathe & Think has been actively involved in supporting teachers with this work. In this link , find free resources to elementary, middle and high school educator tool kits. Remember, you #leadbypractice by adopting a mindfulness routine for yourself.
Mindfulness Matters
May you enjoy the benefits of a regulated brain. A mind that builds time between a response and reaction to our environment. A mind trained to be grateful and aware. Keep building your stamina. Remember, mindfulness is an exercise. Proficiency is built with time and practice. Best wishes practicing!

INSPIRATION MATTERS
with Kathy Nimmer

We know the old cliché, that we must stop to smell the roses. At this time of year when the seasons are changing and many deadlines, extra commitments, and anticipated events are near, it is hard to stop for anything. It is still worth it, though, to notice good things with intention: just ask this squirrel !
