the Public Reception for the Senior Artist Showcase will be Friday September 16, from 6 – 7.30pm. We will be giving out awards, their will be People’s Choice ballots to fill out, a fun game inspired by the artwork for the family, refreshments and the talented local band Hot Tamale. It should be a lot of fun, hope to see you there!

Watercolor, Continuing Beginners

September 2 – October 7 (6 weeks)
Fridays, 1 – 3:30 pm
TSC Clay Studio with Diane Ogorzaly

Developing beyond basics with watercolor. Good for continuing beginners. You can delve into the project of the day or work on your own piece and Diane will help navigate any hurdles along the way.
Intro to Drawing - One Day Workshop

September 19 (1 Day Workshop)
Mondays, 12:30 – 4:30 pm (with a small break)
TSC Art Studio with Debbie Gaedtke

A one-day workshop for beginners and continuing artist who want a drawing refresher, using the grid and drawing from life techniques.
We always have On-Going Studio Art Classes & Labs
(click link above and scroll to bottom of page for information about each on-going class)
On-going studio classes meet on a weekly basis and do not require pre-registration; Pay the days you attend.  $10 per class Seniors (age 50+), $12 Others (age 18-49). Or buy an art card that gives you eight classes for the price of seven. Before joining, visit the class, chat with the instructor, and receive a supply list. Workshops do require pre-registration and pre-payment. All classes are located at the Senior Center Art Studio unless otherwise noted (under neighborhood locations).

Artists, TSC for the Arts needs your talent for our greeting card fundraising gallery. Paintings are 5"x7". There will be paper cut to size on the bulletin board in the art studio.

Help yourself, paint away and drop off your small art at TSC, care of the Art Program Coordinator, Heath Hilary McRae.

Summer Annual Exhibition for the Artists' League of the Big Bend of Florida at Tallahassee Community College, July 8 - August 26 at the Fine Art Gallery. Museum hours 12.30 to 4.30 weekdays.
