The magic of TSDC’s The Nutcracker will be performed at The Scottish Rite
for 5 performances this December.
For over twenty years TSDC has brought this holiday tradition to life.
Our cast fills the stage in Act I with colorful costumes and exquisite choreography from the Overture, to the Party Scene,
through the Battle Scene,
onto the Land of Snow.
Act II opens with our sweet Cherubs and Angels in Land of Sweets. The showstopper of Act II is our Waltz of the Flowers with over 70 dancers dancing to one of the most beautiful pieces of music in
The Nutcracker.
NEW "LOWER" PARTICIPATION AGE
This year, we are lowering the minimum age to participate to 7. This provides our younger dancers the opportunity to be part of our annual holiday
ballet, "The Nutcracker", one of our 3 professional ballet productions.
From the dancer friendly auditions, to receiving the cast email, learning the choreography in rehearsals, costume fittings, dress rehearsals at the theater, and finally the performances- there is a magical Nutcracker journey for everyone involved.
This is a wonderful opportunity for all dancers to experience the real process of being in a show and becoming a part of a cast and dance family that will change their lives forever.
AUDITIONS SCHEDULE
Saturday, June 21, 2025
Auditions are held at TSDC.
If a dancer cannot attend the audition please let us know and that dancer will be observed in their dance classes.
Every dancer who auditions for our production will be cast in a minimum of 2 roles for every performance.
Ages 7*-8
11:30-12:15 pm
*NEW lower age of 7
Ages 9-12
12:45-1:30 pm
Ages 13 & up
1:00-3:00 pm
Parts open to ALL
TSDC students who...
~ Are age 7 or older during the
2025-2026 dance year
~ Are enrolled at TSDC in 2025-2026
~ Are enrolled & attending in at least
1 ballet class per week in 2025-2026

PRODUCTION FEE $350
if paid in full on or before Friday June 20
PRODUCTION FEE is $400
after June 20
Production Fee includes:
● Video Download of ALL 5 performances
● TSDC Nutcracker 2025 Cast T-Shirt
● Nutcracker Cast Gift
The production fee must be paid in full
in order to participate in the Nutcracker audition.
The Nutcracker Production fee is
