Message from the Executive Director

The Schools Foundation presented the final session of Principally Speaking Network for the 2024-25 school year last month. Principally Speaking Network “PSN” is a professional development program for school administrators designed to assist participants in increasing student achievement through more effective leadership practices. We enjoyed hearing Dr. Rhonda Wheeler, retired educator, author, and Mentor Coordinator for CLAS, Mr. Mark Dixon, president of A+ Education Partnership, and Mr. Brent Gleeson, Navy SEAL combat veteran and bestselling author.

I would like to thank our donors for making the PSN program possible!

Sincerely,

Jeanne Baird Greer

THE SCHOOLS FOUNDATION PRESENTS A CHECK TO SUPPORT THE RAISE YOUR HAND INITIATIVE

It was a pleasure to present Madison County Schools with a check for over $23,000 to continue to support our incredible teachers through the Raise Your Hand campaign!

This funding supports educators in our three public school systems on their journey to National Board Certification, strengthening instruction across our district and making an even bigger impact on our students and their educational journey.

Since the Raise Your Hand initiative began five years ago, we have increased our number of NBCT teachers in our county by 57%. This is a wonderful benefit for our students and our community. I would like to thank the Committee of 100 and our donors for making this initiative possible!
