2020 Alcalde Southwest Leadership Conference

Dear Alcalde Registrant,
 
The TSHP Research & Education Foundation Board of Directors has, after thoughtful consideration and comprehensive evaluation of the currently available information related to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, made the decision to cancel the Alcalde Southwest Leadership Conference, originally scheduled for April 15-16 in Galveston. The Board of Directors is exploring alternative presentation options and will provide an update on that shortly.
 
If you are currently registered for Alcalde and plan to participate in the alternative event, no additional action is required. However, if you do not plan to participate in the alternative event, you may request a full refund by sending an email to registration@tshp.org by Wednesday, April 15. All cancellation fees will be waived through this date.
 
Any hotel reservation booked through the Moody Gardens room block will be cancelled automatically without penalty. Registrants who booked housing through other sources or directly with hotels must cancel their own reservations.
 
Additional information regarding registration, hotel reservations, and meeting logistics will be available on the 2020 Alcalde FAQ page on Monday, March 16 th.
 
If you are also registered to attend the 2020 TSHP Annual Seminar, you will receive a separate email notification regarding that event.
 
The health, safety, and well-being of all Alcalde attendees and the patients and communities that they serve are the Foundation’s highest priorities. Thank you for your patience and support at this time.
