Important Meal Break Information
Tri-State Nursing Cares about you, your health and your exceptional care to our clients. That is why we require all nursing staff to take a 30 minute break.
(Home Health Care is exempt from this requirement)
For any shift that is 5 hours or over
Important TSN Accounting Dept. Information:

Effective immediately:  Any meal breaks that are 20 minutes or less or meal breaks not taken must be approved on the time slip. Any meal breaks taken that are 21-30 minutes will be treated as a meal break and a full 30 minutes will be deducted and treated as unpaid.
A policy reminder: We issue a policy statement requiring a 30 minute meal break for staff that work 5+ hours or longer during the onboarding process when we hire.
We understand that it is difficult for many of you to take a full 30 minute meal break
