TSOC'S FUNDING OF THE WILDFLOWER INN FOR "EVERY STAY GIVES BACK" TRULY GIVES BACK
In May 2024, TSOC funded The Wildflower Inn's participation in the Oregon Coast Visitor Association's Kind Traveler's "Every Stay Gives Back" community impact program. Since then, the inn has raised more than $1,200 to support the Elakha Alliance, an organization working to restore sea otter populations on the Oregon Coast.
To expand our sustainability efforts, TSOC is looking to fund up to four additional lodging providers through this program. We invite hotels to reach out to Julie Miller for more information.

CURRY COUNTY TOURISM REBRANDS AS "OREGON'S WILD RIVERS COAST"
Curry County’s tourism initiative unveiled its new visitor-focused brand: Oregon’s Wild Rivers Coast, formerly known as Travel Curry Coast. The rebrand includes a new logo and renewed focus on storytelling, digital engagement, and partnerships with local communities and regional tourism organizations. While the new brand will appear on marketing materials, campaigns, and the official tourism website, internal operations and administration will still use Travel Curry Coast.
"Oregon’s Wild Rivers Coast truly embodies what makes this region unforgettable,” said Miranda Plagge, Curry County Economic Development Administrator. “It reflects the essence of our rivers, coastline, and wilderness, while helping us stand out in the competitive travel and tourism landscape."

TSOC FUNDS UPGRADES TO SOUTH FORK COQUILLE DRIFT BOAT ACCESS ROAD
TSOC is proud to have partnered with local community organizations to contribute funding to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) for the enhancement of the South Fork Coquille drift boat access road. Located near Broadbent, Oregon, this project improves a key route that runs alongside the Powers Highway.
By enhancing this road, we are making it easier and safer for anglers, boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts to access the South Fork Coquille River. This joint effort reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and preserving outdoor spaces.

CERTIFIED LOCAL SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN DEEMED A CERTIFIED SUCCESS
Our "Certified Local" social media campaign, spotlighting businesses on the Wild Rivers Coast Food Trail, reached 750K consumers and generated nearly 10K visits to the TSOC website's Wild Rivers Coast Food Trail content. The campaign achieved a cost-effective cost-per-million clicks (CPM) that was 66% lower than industry standard costs.
Strong engagement and a 1.32% click-through rate (47% higher than the industry standard) underlined a clear interest and demand for South Coast small businesses who produce high-quality products.

TAP INTO THE CANADIAN TOURISM MARKET
You're invited to partner with TSOC and put your destination in front of hundreds of adventure travelers at the Outdoor Adventure Show in Vancouver, British Columbia. This show generates highly-targeted leads, which we share with participants after the event. In 2025, we connected with more than 1,000 outdoor enthusiasts, secured 250 new marketing leads, and inspired wanderlust among our Northern neighbors.
For just $300, we’ll display your materials at our booth and promote your destination to this passionate and adventure-loving audience.
| | A RISING HUB FOR ECO-TOURISM & SUSTAINABLE GROWTH | | |
Stephanie Todd, Global Strategist from Webster Global Site Selectors, delivered an engaging presentation at the Southwest Oregon Economic Summit last May. Her talk, "Southwest Oregon: Primed for Future Growth," highlighted the region’s potential in Outdoor Recreation and Eco-Tourism, a key industry represented by TSOC.
She emphasized our natural assets—rivers, forests, and coastline—as drivers of economic growth, and outlined opportunities such as guided tours, outdoor outfitters, adventure lodges, conservation-focused tourism, and outdoor equipment manufacturing. Her insights reinforced the region's position as a leader in sustainable growth and eco-tourism innovation.
