It's Turner Syndrome Awareness Month and things are really hoppin' here at the Turner Syndrome Society of the United States (TSSUS)!

Cindy, Deborah, and I are excited to see how many of you are sharing our social media posts, submitting your TS Stories, and encouraging each other through shares and comments on our Facebook page and groups.

Did you know that TSSUS created and started Turner Syndrome Awareness Month? Back in 2010, Natalie Brobin, who recently passed away, led a marketing committee and suggested an official Turner Syndrome Awareness Month! Since then, it has become widely-accepted across the globe and adopted by most TS organizations in the world! This is also the committee that created the trademarked TSSUS butterfly icon and created the butterfly symbol as the symbol for those with Turner syndrome!

Have you checked out the TSSUS online store recently? We've added a full line of butterfly jewelry and apparel to help you show that TS spirit. there is so much to choose from - I encourage you to have a look.

As is our custom, we are offering the Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Care of Girls and Women with Turner Syndrome booklet FREE OF CHARGE in honor of TS Awareness Month for the next two weeks! This 16-page booklet is the go-to for those with TS and their families, as well as for medical practitioners. Please, please, please order yours today and read it, follow it, and share it with your medical teams. Free Guidelines will be limited to one per household, and only available to those who have not ordered a free copy in the last year.

Please do your part this TS Awareness Month and share your story and the graphic here on social media, create a Facebook fundraiser, and wear your TSSUS Butterfly Gear!

As always, let us know how we can help you! We are available for one-on-one phone support at 800-365-9944 and on social media through messenger and comments. We are here to support you and the TS community, and we love hearing from you!

Kindly,

Becky Brown
