TTA Welcomes New President

 


Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) Chief Executive Officer Derrick Majchszak has been elected as President of the Texas Transit Association (TTA). Majchszak was elected during the TTA Board of Directors retreat and meeting, which concluded on Friday, August 28th. He most recently served as President-Elect for TTA. Majchszak’s election positions him as a leader for public transportation agencies and professionals across Texas.

Registration Opens October 2nd for TTA's State Conference, 

Expo and Roadeo!


Fort Worth, Here We Come! TTA’s 2027 Annual State Conference, Expo & Roadeo is headed to Fort Worth, February 19–24! The State Roadeo will kick off the week February 19–20, followed by the Conference & Expo February 21–24.


Get ready for timely general sessions, educational breakouts, industry experts, a dynamic Expo, networking opportunities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with transit professionals from across Texas. Registration opens this Friday, October 2nd, so mark your calendars and start making plans to join us in Fort Worth!

Recognize Excellence in Texas Transit!


Nominations are now open for the Texas Transit Awards, and we want your help recognizing the individuals, agencies, and industry partners making a difference in public transportation. Nominations may be submitted by transit agency employees and officials, TTA members, TxDOT employees working with public transportation, and local government officials and employees. Organizations may also self-nominate. Don’t let great work go unnoticed, nominate someone deserving today!


The deadline to submit an award nomination is November 16, 2026.
