Join us February 15 & 16
Join us at the Texas Travel Industry Unity Dinner on February 15 as we share, celebrate and reinforce our unity as a decisive strength of our industry with our state and local policy makers. At this important industry event we will reinforce how together
we have made
Life Better in a State of Travel
.
Stay for Converge on the Capitol (free) the next day and be among the hundreds of Texas travel industry representatives to send a powerful message to our legislators that the travel industry in Texas is important to the state's economy. Your visits with your legislators and their staff lets them see the faces and hear the priorities of the travel industry from industry professionals and constituents firsthand - a critical component in our ability to be successful at the Capitol. Your legislators want and need to hear from you, and the Converge is the perfect way to make your voice heard.
to show your support for unity in Texas!

The Impact of Texas Travel and Tourism
|
"
We estimate that direct travel spending in Texas totals $72.0 billion per year (based on levels of activity in 2016), translating to over $197 million spent every day in the state. In addition, the travel and tourism industry directly supports 688,000 jobs. That equates to roughly 1 in 20 Texas non-agricultural jobs directly supported by travel spending."
