Letter from the President
We certainly hit the New Year right!  Between a Swim Clinic, Indoor Tri/Brick, and a CrossFit workout, we had some great turnouts at our January training events to kick the year off.  Keep your eyes out for more events coming in February before the race season gets into gear.  We're looking to have a Strength Training session and another Indoor Tri/Brick workout, and we'll start doing some pre-rides for upcoming races.
Speaking of upcoming races, there are a couple coming up pretty quick.  We've got almost 18 members coming out to race in the Massacre Marathon relay on February 12.  If you're going to be out at that, look for our TTT tent and come hang out with the other TTT folks between laps.  Also the first 2017 TTT Race Series race, the Hagan-Stone Park Duathlon on March 11 th .  We'll be looking to do some course pre-rides prior to the event, weather permitting.
Finally, don't forget to check out the Epix store for our TTT tri kits and other apparel.  This is typically the only time of the year that we open the store, and we've discounted prices of all of the items for this run, so it's a great opportunity to get some gear.  In the middle of the year we've always got people asking where to get the tri suits, cycling shirts, and other TTT branded apparel.  This is your opportunity right now, so go check it out!

This month's Athlete of the Month is Sarah Thomas. Sarah has been participating in triathlons for two years now, and completed her first 70.3 last September. Her next adventure is Puerto Rico 70.3 relay this spring. When you meet her she is kind, warm and welcoming. Then you see her in action and she is fierce and focused. Sarah always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude while training. Congrats Sarah on being our AOM! For more about Sarah:

It's time for the Annual TTT Swap Meet!
Did you upgrade your bike or GPS device recently and want to sell your old one? Got any old gear you're looking to trade or sell? Apparel, equipment, parts, electronics, pretty much anything triathlon or exercise related goes! If you're planning to bring anything to trade or sell, reply with a description and/or pictures here so that we'll know what's going to be there.

We'll also have sizing kits for the Epix store. This will likely be the last public opportunity for trying on the kits. I'm working on getting the last sizes for the 2-piece tri kits so that we'll have everything available. I'll comfirm sizes that I have once they're in my hands.

And pizza! We'll have pizza, salad, and drinks, so come enjoy some dinner with us as well. After the event, some of us may also head across the street to CharBar No. 7 for some post event drinks.

This event will be non-competitive, and will involve timed legs for lap swimming, stationary bike, and treadmill. This event is open to anyone, and will be free for TTT members but will require a small fee for non-TTT participants.

Email invitations will be sent out later this week, similar to the last one.

This is just an announcement and save the date reminder, but not the official signup. Feel free to accept if you want it on your Facebook calendar, but you'll need to respond to the email invitation to get officially signed up. The official signup will be sent via email similar to last time.

We're looking forward to seeing you there, and expanding this into a larger series at more locations next year, so come out and join us!
