The Triad Triathlon Team's season exploded into gear with a stellar turnout and performance at the Belews Lake International Triathlon. It was a perfect day with great temperatures and sunshine. 26 TTT'ers and their families attended the race. We achieved an impressive 8 podiums, including several PR's, first open water swims, first attempts at the international distance, and tons of smiles!
The Belews Lake Triathlon was also the first triathlon in the TTT Race Series. Competition was fierce and the results are up on our website. To learn more about the series and see who is out front, click here.
And although this video was in last months newsletter, I am including it once again... Triathlon season is HERE! :-)

MAY TEAM MEETING
The May TTT team meeting is back at Earth Fare on Friday May 8th @ 6:30 PM.
As always, our meeting will provide an opportunity to socialize with your fellow teammates. In addition, per popular demand, yours truly will conduct a basic bicycle maintenance tutorial which will include a hands on clinic on changing out a flat tire. Please bring your front bicycle tire (not the entire bicycle) along with tire levers, CO2 cartridges and/or bike pump. If you don't have all the neccessary gear, don't worry, I'm sure people will be able to lend some out. The goal will be to allow everyone to perform a mock tube change by themselves.
Earthfare has a great food hot/cold food buffet. Arrive at 6:30 to eat and socialize. Clinic will start at 7:15 PM.
