The Title IX office is excited to welcome you to Tulane! Our office coordinates Tulane's efforts to prevent and respond to sexual violence. We have worked with your fellow students to create two videos that will help your understand your role in creating a community free from sexual violence. In the first video, you will hear about what it means to be ALL IN to stop sexual violence in our community. In the second video, you will take a closer look at consent, learn how you can support a friend if they share they have experienced sexual violence, and familiarize yourself with campus resources.

Campus Health's Online Wellness Courses
All students who are new to Tulane (first-year and transfer students) are required to complete a series of online health promotion courses. For the Fall 2021 semester, details will be sent to students via their Tulane email in mid-July.
-
Alcohol and Other Drugs, is an interactive learning experience that equips students with the skills to support healthy decisions for themselves and their peers, reducing adverse outcomes associated with alcohol and other drug misuse.
-
Sexual Misconduct Prevention is a comprehensive simulation that equips college students with the skills to navigate difficult situations related to sexual misconduct, leading to a safer and more connected campus.
-
Mental Health is an interactive learning experience for students that equips them with the skills to support their emotional health and that of their peers. The product introduces positive coping strategies, prepares students to recognize signs of distress, effectively communicate their concerns, and take action to find additional support.
- As a fourth optional course, the Sexual Health and Literacy curriculum offers Tulane students an opportunity to develop their own concept of healthy sexuality. The curriculum achieves this by providing medically-accurate, queer-inclusive, and sex positive comprehensive sexual health education through interactive modules. Topics covered in the modules include: consent and healthy relationships; adolescent development; sexual and reproductive anatomy and physiology; gender identity and expression; sexual identity and orientation; interpersonal and sexual violence; contraception, pregnancy, and reproduction; and HIV and other STDs/STIs.

Student Health & Wellness
No action is required for newly enrolled international students, as you will be automatically enrolled in T-SHIP. Beginning summer 2020, newly enrolled international students are required to enroll in T-SHIP.
July 15: Immunization Compliance Deadline - This is the deadline to submit your completed Tulane immunization compliance form and records via the Patient Portal. Your doctor needs to sign and stamp Tulane's form. Tulane must have evidence of a student’s compliance with the state guidelines for immunizations. Failure to meet these requirements will result in an enrollment hold being placed on your student account, which will bar you from dropping or adding classes in the Fall semester and/or enrolling for Spring semester classes.
July 15: Student Vaccine Requirement or Declination Form: Students must submit vaccine documentation or the declination form by July 15. If students have been vaccinated at a clinic other than the Tulane School of Medicine Vaccine Clinic, located on the first floor of the JBJ Building, they should report proof of vaccination through the Campus Health Patient Portal.
For questions about uploading documentation or the declination form, please email chtestresults@tulane.edu. For all COVID vaccine questions, please email covidvaccine@tulane.edu.
