Patrick Meagher (http://www.pcm3.net/#0) makes art about technology and consciousness, in digital-pop painting, sculpture, collage, animation, and VR. His work considers human evolution in the era of emergent transhuman technology in turn of the twenty-first century-- the largest and most tumultuous technological and economic shift in the history of humankind.
Meagher's multifaceted art project entitled “Lineland”, is comprised of over 100 symbols used to create intuitive yet systematic, ‘journey drawings’, paintings, sculptures and immersive public art experiences.
This project represents the artist’s life’s work and is intended to engage and serve the public - guiding each participant through one’s own internal landscapes, personal history, hope and search for meaning.
