YOKED WITH JESUS


There will be times in your life that you feel you just cannot take another step. You have become weary and heavy laden with the care of yourself and others. There is only one thing that can help you. You give your problems to Jesus.


In Matthew 11:28-30 it says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”


When oxen are yoked together, often the stronger one takes the lead. The yoke that connects them keeps the weaker one going, as it depends upon the strength of the stronger of the two. 


Jesus wants us to “yoke up” with him, letting him carry the load when we are weak. It is not a sign of weakness to do this. It is a sign of faith, knowing that “His strength is made perfect in weakness.” [2 Corinthians 12:9] It takes great faith to trust God and just let go of the things weighing you down.


 Let God carry you my friend. He is strong enough for both of you!

This prayer is not mine but so fitting for now.



Holy Spirit, help transform us to be more like our Lord and Savior. Help us understand that meekness is not weakness , it is power under control. Help us walk in humility and show us when we don’t. Help us not to judge others and show us when we do. Help us speak life over all who are against us and offend us so we may draw from our Father's infinite grace. Amen and amen

Just face it....No one can MAKE you happy; But some folks sure can steal your joy. Just don't ever allow that to happen...For IF you lose your joy you’d then lose all your strength...And you're going to need that strength of yours for the journey ahead of you. Nehemiah 8:10 tells us..."The joy of the Lord is your strength. So today try staying upbeat for it's the joy of the Lord that brings you great strength and much happiness...Not things and surely not many people. Now have yourself a joyfully blessed day...And keep that big smile on your face with peace and joy in your heart.

I'm telling you that God often does seasons of preparation before you enter into your "promised land" or destiny aka (also known as) your "greater in God". You have to be prepared by Him or you will "mishandle", "misuse" and "misunderstand" the season that is coming forth. The best is yet to come!

A warm walk in the Sunlight,

or the Frosty sparkling snow of Winter.

All beautiful these seasons of change

from our beautiful Loving God.

Seasons of change bring flowers That bloom.

A vegetable garden lots of Swimming, too! 

To Ski down the Wintery slopes! Oh, what fun!

 And to make lots of snowballs, and a snowman.

Oh, come enjoy the Seasons change.
