A BABY SAVED

PART 1 - MOSES

We see in Exodus chapters 1 and 2 that Israel’s prophesied four hundred years of Egyptian slavery was nearing its end. God needed to provide for their deliverance. He made that provision with the birth of Moses. His fore-ordained destiny was to be Israel’s deliverer. Satan tried to stop God’s plan to deliver His people from their bondage to Egypt. His plan was to kill all the male Israelites when they were born. God not only thwarted Satan’s plan but even arranged for little Moses to be raised in the King’s court.

At the age of 80 Moses became the deliver of Israel from the bondage to Egypt. He went from a baby in a basket in the bulrushes and into Pharaoh’s court where he got the best education and favored treatment available in the land. His 40-years at court and 40-years in the wilderness gave him a well-rounded preparation to lead God’s people out of bondage.

Not only did God prepare Moses to fulfill his destiny, but God also had a face-to-face relationship with Moses [mouth-to-mouth] as seen in Numbers 12:8.

There were occasions when God spoke audibly to Moses. Today, God rarely speaks audibly to a person, but he does speak to us by the Holy Spirit, who puts God’s thoughts into our minds. Our spiritual ears discern our thoughts if they be of God or of Satan.

Moses led God’s people out of bondage to Egypt, a country representative of sin. Jesus led God’s people out of bondage to sin. It could be said that Moses foreshadowed the deliverance brought by Jesus from the land of sin.

Baby Moses was born for that purpose.

THE WHITE FLAG OF SURRENDER

There are so many people that I know in the body of Christ that are weary. They are weary in their ministry, weary in their marriage, weary in their workplace, and weary with their family. They would like to raise the white flag and surrender.

Interesting enough, that is just what you should do! But it isn’t a surrender to the enemy, it is a surrender to God.  

God has been watching and sees you trying to carry the load and has been waiting for you to “surrender” the burden to him. YOU cannot carry it because it is too heavy.

Isaiah 40:28-30 gives us insight. It reads, “28 Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:”

Verse 31 gives the answer to all that stress. It says, “BUT they [that is you and me] that wait [hope in] the LORD shall renew [be refreshed in] their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

The Amplified Version reads this way, “28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting god, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become tired or grow weary; There is no searching of His understanding 29 He gives strength to the weary, and to him who has no might He increases power. 30 Even youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, 31But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like the eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.”

So, you see, the key to getting through is surrendering all the stress to God once and for all and depending upon Him to carry you through. Then you will receive peace, and victory! In other words, quit trying to do everything in your own strength and trust God!

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

2-10-2025

Yes, you are weary from the many battles, but we cannot give in to the weariness. Isaiah 40:31 gives us the answer. It says, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings of eagles. They shall run and not be weary, and walk and not faint." The key is to "wait" on the Lord. This means we sit in his presence and let him take all the weariness. It means that we leave there refreshed and ready to take on the next battle! Never underestimate the time spent with God. Your life may depend upon it.

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

Today, perhaps we all should concentrate on being a bit more like Joseph was in the Book of Genesis; Yes, back in The Book of The Beginnings. It’s there we read of how Joseph found himself cut off from his many hopes and dreams. However, even still today you and I can also look straight ahead and trust God…Just as Joseph did. Let’s remember God is still on the throne and His promises will NEVER fail. So you hold onto all those hopes of yours; And refuse to ever let go of your dream. Oh, sure things may look down before they look up, but GOD who promised it to you will surely bring it ALL to pass; In HIS time…So you hang on and remember to never let go of your God given faith.

                     Are you sure flowers can dance?

                     Oh, yes they can, God made them so.

                     A gentle little breeze makes the tulips sway,

                     Makes the lilies smile.

                     All dressed in colors, lace, and frills,

                     Oh, how they dance, their destiny fulfilled.

                     For faces of humanity, see this beautiful

                     Artistry of God. It brightens up a day,

                     These dancing flowers of God.

                     The Sunflowers bow their heads so low,

                     The wind picks up, they're pretty tough,

                     Don’t you know?

                     Dancing colors are everywhere

                     For us to see, for us to share,

                     Those dancing flowers, Gods love is there.
