THE “I AM” LESSON 10

At the “Last Supper” Jesus told His disciples of several things that were going to happen, including His betrayal. Why did He tell them? He gives the answer in John 13:19.
“Now I tell you before it comes, [so] that when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I AM.” His declaration being the “I AM that I AM” was to solidify their understanding that He is the same God who spoke to Moses through the burning bush.
It was a strong “I AM” statement. Remember the italicized “he” that was erroneously inserted by the human translator. Jesus said, “I AM.” He did not say “I am he.”
Jesus is truly the great and eternal “I AM” that I AM,” the self-existent one. He is God and He lives within us, His children.

THE DARK AGES

As I see history, the dark ages came because the light of God was not being shared. Yes, there were some and they became martyrs. A false religious system came into being that was fueled by political favors and paying for penance instead of repentance. The gospel no longer was preached.
Down through the ages, the fire of God shown on various men and the scriptures were printed out so men could read it for themselves. No longer did someone tell them what it said. They learned that salvation was not obtained through religious works, but through repentance. The light and fire of God began to burn again. They rebelled against the false religious system that had bound them, and many lives were changed. Those in the religious hierarchy consistently tried to put out the fire and continue to do so.
We are in a season that is becoming very dark again. The pulpit is full of hirelings that claim to be called by God yet denounce the very word of God that makes one a pastor, apostle, evangelist, teacher, and prophet. In Isaiah 60:1-3 it says, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”
You will notice in these scripture verses that darkness will cover the earth, and gross darkness will be on the people. We are in that state now. Good is called evil and evil is called good. What used to be in the “closet” has come out and blatantly come against Christian principles with their mockery. Yet, the rest of these verses tells us that if we arise up in the name of Jesus that his glory will be seen through us. This will cause nonbelievers to come to the Lord and change kings and their kingdoms.
If each of us shines for Jesus in our own little corner of the world, we can bring many out of darkness. Do not dwell on the darkness! Dwell on the light in you that will change lives. We must allow God’s light to shine through us, then the darkness will flee.

AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS
Rapid change is coming. Be prepared for a fresh new wind saith the Lord. For I am uprooting many things, and you shall see a change like never before. I am in the change for things have to happen for my word to come to pass. I would say that in this hour you must be willing to be flexible for when the wind of change hits it shall bend and all that are not flexible will be broken. You will withstand the wind of change as you bend with the wind. For many that I have called unto me have not heeded the warning and have simply put any thoughts of change aside. They will experience much hardship in the days to come for they have not listened. I would say that for those that have prepared you shall feel a fresh wind in your life that will carry you through the days ahead. For I am restoring what the cankerworm has stolen from you. Oh, my child, you will be full of joy when you see this happen, for you have been waiting for this day. You shall surely see it because you have spent time with me and have availed yourself of the things necessary that had to be done to bring about this change. For there will be a great darkness that would bring much fear to many, but as you stay in the presence of my Spirit, you will see the light. The light will be reflected upon you, and you will carry that light into many dark places without any fear, knowing that I am with you. For I have called you to be my luminaires in this hour and you shall certainly bring light into places that no one else has been able to bring light. You have stood through the test, and this is your hour. So, be ready to go forth, with my Spirit leading you into these places and know that you will be protected. Many are in darkness that need the light that I have put in you. It will be a time of great refreshing for you as you see lives changed my child. You have been waiting for this hour and it is here saith the Lord.

There comes a time in life that you must come to the very END of yourself; And experience your own WEAKNESS…Before you can genuinely experience the awesome STRENGTH of a faithful God. It’s then you’ll be able to utilize His strength in those impossible looking situations. Some people are beginning to realize they’ve somehow come to the very end of their own strength; And now it seems they’re struggling just to make it through a tough spot in the road of life. Just pause now and think for a moment…Have you ever considered that perhaps you’ve come to the absolute END of your own-self? Well that’d be good for it’s giving you the opportunity you’ve been looking for; And that is to fully wake up and understand that Jesus is there and He will always be there for you. Yes, it’s true…JESUS can take our hopeless mess; And transform us all into something of great beauty; For truly when WE are WEAK…Our faithful GOD is so STRONG. “We none should think we are capable of doing anything on our own. All of our abilities comes from God”. (2 Cor. 3:5) "For when I am weak then through Him I am strong". (2 Cor. 12:10b)

This past Sunday at church I heard something that I have said over and over in my devotions.
God will NEVER (Ever) leave you. I guess it can’t be said enough. Remember God is a NOW God. He created you for this moment in time. He wanted you here. Last but not least: God is doing a NEW thing. God never stops creating. He created each of us for this time.
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.””
Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV
“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”
