An Askew Look at Kauai Happenings

Today 3pm-5pm is the final chance for the Halloween Candy Buy-Back at Kalaheo Dental Clinic. Click poster for details.

This Sat, Nov 8, there is a Dharma Class at Temple Zenshuji. Click poster for details.

For the past 52 years, Greg Askew has been informing the residents of Kauai about the events on the island. Greg asked if the PAC could assume those duties with our Weekly Monday eblast. In his honor we have named it An Askew Look at Kauai Happenings.

PAC Hero

During the first screening of ROCKY HORROR last week, a Sheerwater bird became distressed on our porch. We contacted the Bird Rescue Hotline and they instructed us to put the bird in a cardboard box and drop off at their HQ just off Rice Street. No one (Mark Ombrello & moi) was keen about picking up the bird, so Rie Ombrello commanded us to stand clear and she did the honors, earning PAC Hero for October.
