TVEC Earns Safety Awards
Members of TVEC's operations team recently attended the Texas Electric Cooperatives Safety and Loss Control Conference. And while the goal was to learn about updated safety practices and procedures, it was also nice to receive recognition for the co-op's safety achievements.

In particular we received certificates for having worked three full years without a lost-time accident, and more than 1.1 million man-hours without a lost time accident as of the end of 2022.

Tax-Free Shopping for Emergency
Preparedness Supplies April 22-24

Just in time for severe weather season - There will be a statewide tax-free shopping weekend for emergency preparedness supplies April 22-24. This includes most of the obvious items from first aid kits to tarps and flashlights.

There are some limitations on items like generators, which must cost less than $3,000 to qualify.

Saving Together is Money Back in Your Pocket

As a nonprofit utility, any cost savings we can manage will result in keeping prices as low as possible, and returning more to members through Capital Credits.

TVEC members can help in several ways to keep the cost of doing business low.

Transaction fees have climbed tremendously as more payments are made by credit card, but this is the most expensive way to pay. Moving to automatic bank draft or e-check can lower those costs, and may even make your bill payment experience easier.

Mailing expenses have risen dramatically as well. Switching to paperless billing will put your bill in your inbox, and avoid the hassle of paper bills.

Contact the TVEC member services team to find out more about your billing and bill payment options.

Thank you for helping us avoid additional transaction fees, and we will continue to do everything we can to follow our mission statement...

At Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative, we are committed to our member-owners to deliver safe and reliable electric power at a competitive
price, with a strong emphasis on member service, community and
sound business practices
