TVEC Crews Work To Restore Power After Hurricane Helene

The scenes of damage and destruction from Hurricane Helene seem to to get worse as the days go by.

TVEC linemen left last week to assist in power restoration at Snapping Shoals Electric Co-op. After that co-op's damage repair was complete, the moved to Jefferson Energy Cooperative near Augusta.

As additional crews prepare to go, we keep all of the affected citizens, emergency workers and of course the utility crews in our prayers as they try to put essential services back into operation.

Get Your Co-op Updates On-The-Go

Last month the TVEC communications team has launched the "Consider it Hot" podcast, which we hope to use to pass along important co-op and community information, and have some fun along the way.

In the second episode we talk about Co-op Month with Jeff Lane, get some information about TVEC education programs from PR Supervisor Laura Melton and of course a word with TVEC Energy Management Supervisor Chris Walker.

The second episode has been published at the link above, and it is available across most podcast platforms and YouTube.

Give it a listen and let us know what you think!
