Summer is here!   

With sun and warm weather, users are getting out and enjoying life with family and friends. Wear and tear on wheelchairs, strollers and accessories is inevitable. Great lines such as Bodypoint, Spinergy and Gelovations provide quality aftermarket purchases should those accessories need some love.  

Line update. As of July 15 Nuprodx has decided to go to direct reps and we will no longer be your Nuprodx reps. It has been our pleasure to deliver Nuprodx to you for the last 6 years! Remember, we still have the Clarke Ergo and Starfish Lines to meet your bathroom chair needs. 

In our quest to provide you better access to information  this newsletter will be transformed to be more targeted and less cumbersome in its size and scope. 
There will be three new "TVH Update" iterations which will be more regular and targeted.

ProBed has run some numbers regarding the cost of wound care. Have a read! 

"Analysis of wound care costs over a typical four-year period shows median costs amounting to approximately $400,000.  This amount, determined by using the following analysis across a broad spectrum of patients, provides the following breakdown:  Required durable medical equipment - $72,000; costs of care related to incidences of pneumonia - $80,000; wound VAC -  $36,000; wound management -  $125,000; skin flap surgery - $86,000."
