The Anaheim Chamber of Commerce sends our sincerest thank you to those who attended and sponsored the 2019 Angels Baseball Luncheon. It was a sold out event with over 180 attendees including Angels Baseball VP of Communications Tim Mead, pitching coach Doug White and third base coach Mike Gallego.
 
With your support, we were able to create an exclusive opportunity to connect the Anaheim business community with a professional sports team which serves as an economic engine for the city by creating thousands of jobs and millions of dollars in tax revenue each season. In addition, we were pleased to provide an unforgettable experience to our local youth Little League Teams from West, North, and East Anaheim.
 
It was our pleasure to create a networking opportunity for businesses during a complimentary reception at the Lexus Diamond Club in the Angels Stadium.  As we continue to create economic development opportunities in Anaheim to retain, attract and grow the Anaheim business community, we are happy to promote and partner with your business in the future.

Analysis: What the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge means for Disneyland, Anaheim and the greater Disney universe 


Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge places the Walt Disney Company at a high-stakes Sabacc table surrounded by alien gamblers in a disreputable cantina where the entertainment conglomerate is about to make a $1 billion bet that intergalactic travelers are desperate to step foot into a Star Wars spaceport on the outer rim of the galaxy.

That might seem like an awful lot of galactic credits to push into the pot in this winner-take-all Star Wars game. But chances are Disney's big bet is a sure thing and the odds are heavily in Mickey Mouse's favor.

With Galaxy's Edge set to open Friday, May 31, let's climb aboard the Millennium Falcon for an interstellar journey to explore what the new land means for Disneyland, Anaheim and the greater Disney universe.

Anaheim, CA to Add 40 New Electric Buses to Public Fleet

The Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN), a public transportation system operating within The Anaheim Resort District of California, has recently purchased 40 new electric buses in order to achieve their goal of a 100% zero-emission fleet.
