In 2011, OYO introduced a new email communique to streamline our content and provide you with a single source of information each week. However, as the league's operating systems evolved through the years from SportsManager to League Toolbox to LeagueApps, OYO also transitioned TWIO from text-based emails to our current content management platform in 2020. In this era of communicating with all our families, this issue marks the 100th issue of TWIO.

FALL BALL TOURNAMENT IS OCTOBER 6!

All Fall Ball divisions will participate in a fun, memorable rec league tournament on Sunday, October 6. The tournament is a single-elimination tournament, and all home-and-away assignments are determined by a pre-game coin flip administered by the umpire during the coaches' meeting. Save the date on your calendar now and download your division's bracket! Please note, Tee Ball will participate in its final games and receive trophies on October 6, too!

To ensure all teams and coaches are on the same page for the Fall Ball tournament, we'll gather following the last games on Sunday, September 29 for our annual meeting!

To help us continue make strides in establishing balanced teams each spring and fall, we need each team's head coach to complete player evaluations online in LeagueApps.

There will be a handful of sponsors present at the park, and we encourage all families to stop by their tables and learn more about their businesses while thanking them for their support!

COME ENJOY OYO'S FIRST ANNUAL TRUNK OR TREAT ON OCTOBER 5

We are excited to announce our first-ever Trunk or Treat! This event is open to all Spring Season and Fall Ball players -- so what a great way to get the old crew from Spring together again or have a little fun with your Fall Ball squad the day before the rec league tournament.

Now, we need your help to make this event a success on Saturday, October 5 from 4-6 p.m.

It all begins with you and your family hosting a trunk and passing out treats to OYO spring and fall ballplayers who come participate in this inaugural event! What's more, we will award a trophy to the best trunk!
