Clients and Friends,
I hope this email finds you healthy, safe and at home. I would like to take a moment to update you on our operations at Trovato Wealth Management. Effective immediately, we will be shifting operations from our office to working remotely to protect our colleagues and our families. As of now, this will not impact our hours or services. We have been deemed by California as an “essential industry” and will continue to conduct normal business operations (remotely). We are modifying appointments to be virtual in order to limit person-to-person contact. If you require a transaction which may necessitate paperwork, please contact us and we will make the proper arrangements.
As you may be aware, the state of California and IRS 2019 tax season filing, as well as 2019 IRA deposit deadlines, have been extended to July 15. If you need anything from us, let us know immediately. Also, please remember not to leave any investment-related trade instructions. Federal regulations prohibit us from taking orders via voicemail or email.
More importantly, I also want to personally convey that I am praying for you, our clients and friends. These are challenging times and they lead to difficult questions. You might have your own source for answers to these questions. I personally am a follower of Jesus Christ. He is where I find my answers and comfort in challenging times. Recently, on my churches’ streaming service, our pastor pointed out that we are to work without a spirit of fear. We need to have faith over fear and peace over panic. We see the Apostle Paul write in 2 Timothy 1:7: “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” The Scripture also shares from King Solomon. He is known as the wisest man whoever lived. In Proverbs 3:21-26 he writes, "My son, do not lose sight of these - keep sound wisdom and discretion, and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble. If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, for the Lord will be your confidence.”
Instead of being gripped by fear in this situation use ‘sound wisdom and discretion’ in it. To remind us it is also written in James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." My prayer is that each of us goes to the Lord to find wisdom in each of our situations.
These can be trying times, not simply from the vantage point of the investment community. No one likes uncertainty, especially as it relates to our health and the health of our loved ones. I encourage you to take this time to reflect on what truly is important and to take care of yourself and your family.
