Congressman Dr. Mike Kennedy apparently has a scheduling conflict and will not be holding his previously scheduled Town Hall.

We will update you if this changes. Please share this message.

Congresswoman Maloy is and has been unavailable to do an in-person townhall here in St. George since, well, forever. Fortunately, Congressman Dr. Mike Kennedy (Utah District 3) is willing to come to our District (2) to answer our questions!

It's all happening Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m in the conference room (upstairs) at the Balance of Nature Building on River Rd. 1568 South River Rd., St. George , Utah

Suggest you arrive early for seating and have your questions ready. And maybe your phones out, ready to record. This is a rather momentous occasion.

IT'S NOT OVER YET

Talk has already started about appealing the gerrymandering decision. What is it with people who are against, fair and accessible voting? From Better Boundaries:

"Judge Gibson's ruling in Utah's anti-gerrymandering litigation is a landmark victory for citizen-led reform. It reinstates Proposition 4 and the fair map standards that voters approved. It orders the legislature to submit new maps by September 24 and sends a clear message: Utahns have a right to reform our government, and the voices of Utahns matter. But this hard-won progress is at risk. The legislature may choose to appeal the ruling, prolonging the fight and undermining the will of the people."

Contact Your Legislator Today. 

Our elected officials need to hear directly from us. Call or email them and ask them to respect the court's decision and the will of Utah voters.

With the decline in local journalism, which includes no more op-eds or Letters to the Editor, we invite you to share your opinions with us.
