Gingerbread Bash - December 14
This season brings so much joy, but let's be honest—there's also a bit of chaos! With decorations to hang, parties to plan, and presents to buy, it's easy to let December slip by and forget the true meaning of Christmas.
This year, we want to take a moment to slow down and focus on the heart of the season. That's why we are hosting a special event called "Gingerbread Bash!" Join us on December 14 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall for a fun, interactive experience for the whole family. We will build gingerbread nativities, sing Christmas songs, play games, and hear the Christmas story from the Bible. Dinner will be provided, and the cost is $10 per family. Click the link to sign up today!

Christmas Eve Family Worship Service

Construction Ministry Team Project
Tabernacle is partnering with sister churches in the Carrollton Baptist Association to help build a new home for a local family walking through significant hardship. The foundation has already been poured, and the next major step is a Construction Day on Saturday, December 6, beginning at 8:00 AM, where volunteers will help frame the building. This is a hands-on opportunity to bless a family in need and demonstrate Christ’s love in our community. All skill levels are welcome to participate. If you would like to assist with this workday, please contact Phil McGukin at 678-776-6517.

League of Friends
Our staff had a wonderful time presenting the annual Christmas skit for our League of Friends special needs ministry! It’s always a joy to share the Good News of Great Joy during this special season. We’re especially grateful for a team that brings so much heart, laughter, and willingness to serve including our newest and returning staff member, Pam Russell Smith, who stepped right in as Mary on her very first day! Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening memorable, and special thanks to John Pridgen for capturing the moment and Richard Walker for his support.

Worship Center Organ Fund
We are focusing on our Worship Center organ fund. You may be aware that our analog instrument from the 1980s needs to be replaced with a digital instrument because we continue to see a decline in functionality, sound quality, and parts from that era of technology are no longer being made. Currently, $206,080 has been given to the fund, and we are over halfway to our goal! Our organ selection team has selected a builder for our next instrument with a ballpark cost of $280,000. Please consider making a gift so that our worship ministry can continue to lead with excellence for future generations. Gifts in honor or memory of a loved one are encouraged.
