Wednesday Night Activities Resume - January 7

Wednesday night activities resume January 7. Join us for dinner that starts at 4:45, adult discipleship opportunities, children's activities and student worship as we launch into a new season together. We can’t wait to see you there!

Take a Spiritual Gifts Inventory! (January 11)

As we begin 2026, we are inviting every member to go “All-In” through a renewed focus on

Whole-Life Stewardship—faithfully stewarding who God has made you to be for His purposes. A key first step will be completing a Spiritual Gifts Inventory during Sunday School on January 11 to help you better understand how God has uniquely equipped you to serve. For those who prefer a digital option, an Excel-based inventory is available and may be completed at home, saved as a PDF, and emailed to pam.smith@tabernacle.org. This inventory is the first step in a broader process of building a personalized ministry pathway that will help connect your gifts, passions, and calling to meaningful service as we learn to know ourselves more fully, live God’s way more boldly, and share ourselves more wholly for the sake of the gospel.

Wednesday Night Adult Discipleship - Spiritual Gifts: What They Are and How to Use Them – Starting January 14, 2026

Join us for Adult Discipleship on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm as we study Dan Darling’s book Spiritual Gifts: What They Are and How to Use Them. We will offer two classes: a women’s class led by Diane Sauls and Carol Griffin in the Room 206, and a co-ed class led by Rob Sauls and Dr. Stephen Allen in Room 209. This study provides 6 sessions of rich biblical teaching, personal study, and practical guidance for discovering and using the gifts God has given you. Come ready to gather and grow in an understanding of yourself so you can go and serve in the unique way that God has gifted you.

Why would a man who is retired, happily married, living in a pleasant Georgia town and attending a vibrant, caring church want to join a Transformation group? BY THE NUMBERS

Giving Information

Thank you for your faithful giving, which allows our church to do meaningful ministry in our community! You may drop off gifts during regular office hours (Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, or Friday, 8:30 AM-1 PM). You may also give in person during the worship service, mail your gift, give online on our website, text "tabernacle150" to 73256, or give on Venmo at https://venmo.com/u/tabernaclebaptist.

Worship Center Organ Fund

We are focusing on our Worship Center organ fund. You may be aware that our analog instrument from the 1980s needs to be replaced with a digital instrument because we continue to see a decline in functionality, sound quality, and parts from that era of technology are no longer being made. Currently, $230,668 has been given to the fund, and we are over halfway to our goal! Our organ selection team has selected a builder for our next instrument with a ballpark cost of $280,000. Please consider making a gift so that our worship ministry can continue to lead with excellence for future generations. Gifts in honor or memory of a loved one are encouraged.
