These services are always encouraging as we see a picture of the larger body of Christ serving together. We look forward to an encouraging day of worship and hope you will join us in person or online.
Prayer Room Sign-Up
We are resuming Prayer Room prayer time slots and will have 30 minute blocks for individuals to pray weekly so that our Community, Schools, Mission Partners, and Church can be circled in prayer. Be a part of the Prayer Strategy at Tabernacle. See a Prayer Ministry Team member in the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings to sign up.
Worship Through the Holy Land Israel Mission Trip
Tabernacle will be combining with several other churches for a 10-day life-changing mission trip to the Holy Land. We will have the opportunity to go to numerous biblical heritage sites as well as opportunities to share the Gospel through worship. The dates are July 6-16, 2022 and the trip is open to all family and friends, but will be anchored by our Worship Ministry. For more information or to sign up, contact James Kimmel.
Senior Adult Lunch
Make plans to attend the Brown Bag Sr. Adult lunch September 7 at 11:45 AM. Bring your lunch and we will supply the drinks and dessert. The best decorated brown bag will receive a special "one of a kind" prize! The special musical guest will be the Bethany Quartet, southern gospel at its finest!
Baptism Sunday
We will be having another baptism Sunday on September 12 during morning worship. If you have been waiting to be baptized or would like to talk to someone about publicly following Jesus in this way, please contact Pastor Stephen Allen. We look forward to celebrating these decisions for Christ!
Director of Children’s Ministries
Tabernacle Baptist Church in Carrollton, Georgia is seeking a part-time Director of Children’s Ministries who is responsible for giving direction and planning a balanced program of religious training through
age-appropriate education and experiences. To submit a resume, please email it to employment@tabernacle.org.
Drone Filming
We will be shooting some new photos and video tomorrow morning, August 18 from 7:30-9 AM. The church office and parking lot will be closed during this time, but will open promptly after the shoot is finished.
Deacon Selection
The Deacon Selection Committee nominates members to fill vacancies on the Deacon body based on nominations from the congregation. The selection is based on the Committee’s prayerful consideration and discussion of the needs of the church and the candidates available to serve. You may submit your suggestions to the church office or email Lynn Weathington.
MESS Resumes
MESS (Mom's Enjoying Scripture Series) resumes on Wednesday, September 8 and meets every week from 7:50-9:15 AM for Bible study and fellowship. For more information, contact Crystal Gilley.
Friday Morning Bible Study
In this faith-building study, you’ll discover how Elijah’s obedience to God kept him anchored, sharpened his faith, broadened his impact, and invited heaven’s fire to fall. God is also working in your life today to fashion a fiery, bold faith that will empower you to share the hope of Christ with your family, friends, co-workers, and community. This group meets each Friday at 9:30 AM in the Heritage Room starting September 10.
