Vacation Bible School 2019: IN THE WILD!
Grab your camera and join us IN THE WILD for amazing encounters with Jesus! All kids who have completed pre-K through 6th grade are welcome to join us June 3-7 from 9 AM-12 PM. Drop off and pick up will be located in the TLC. Click here for registration. Invite all kids you know to be here with us! T-shirts are now available on Sunday mornings for $5 each. Retirement Reception for Cathy Mercier
Join us as we honor and celebrate the retirement of our Weekday Preschool Director Cathy Mercier on Thursday, May 16, from 3:30-5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Preschool Graduation will follow the reception at 6 PM.
Deacon Selection Has Begun

Lord's Supper in Worship
We will observe The Lord's Supper in our worship service this Sunday, May 19 at 11 AM. Come celebrate what Christ has done for us on the Cross.
Envisioning Transformation
Clarity and unity are important as we seek God’s will for the future of Tabernacle Baptist Church. We can only be transformed by Christ and see transformation for Christ when we do it together. We will hold a Q&A Session on Sunday, May 19, at 4:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall to provide an opportunity for those who may have questions about the Envisioning Transformation initiative.

DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
Cancer Support Group
Has your life been impacted by cancer? We are a faith-based, cancer support group. Our goal is to provide spiritual and emotional support to those diagnosed, currently undergoing treatment, caregivers, and those in remission. We meet every 3rd Wednesday of each month. Our next meeting is May 15 at 6 PM in room 256. The guest speaker will be Dr. Zunzunegui.
STUDENT MINISTRY
Panama City Beach Youth Camp
The student ministry will go to Panama City Beach on June 10 -14. The cost is $225 per student, and the total amount is due by May 27. Contact [email protected] for more information.
SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY
Rome Braves Baseball Trip
The senior adults will go to Rome, GA to see a Rome Braves baseball game on Monday, May 20. Game time is 1 PM. Buses will leave the church parking lot at 10:30 AM. Tickets are $8. Call Marie in the church office for reservations. There are only a few spots left.
Annual Senior Adult Birthday Cookout
We are celebrating all senior adult birthdays! Join us on May 28, 5 PM at the pavilion. The church will furnish grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, tea, and lemonade. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.
MISSIONS MINISTRY
Camp Hawkins Mission Opportunities
Camp Hawkins Cleanup prior to summer camp will be May 27 - 29. This includes landscaping, cleaning cabins, stocking storage bays, and pool maintenance. Please contact [email protected] to sign up by May 20.

Camp Hawkins Summer Camp will be June 18 - 23. This special needs camp near Cornelia, Georgia is sponsored by the Georgia Baptist Children's Home. Volunteers are needed to assist in arts & crafts, bible study, sports & recreation, cooking, and laundry.
Cumberland Mission Trip
The general Cumberland Mission Trip will be July 7-12. We will assist the Burkeen family in running their weekly program for children in the Cumberland area. We will provide bible studies, crafts, recreation, and meals. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Community Needs
Open Hands, our community food and assistance center, needs toothpaste and bar soap. Alice's House, a local children's home, needs all-purpose liquid cleaners, HE laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. Items can be dropped off in the hallway by the Fellowship Hall.
