The Lord’s Supper this Sunday
We will observe The Lord’s Supper in our worship service Sunday, November 11 at 11:00 am. Join us for a time of reflection on all that Christ has done for us through His death on the cross. A gluten free station will be available in the back of the worship center for those who need it.
Christmas at Tabernacle!
This December, we will have three special worship services to help celebrate the Christmas season. All three events are open to the public, so invite someone you know to join us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. Below is a description of each event.

Christmas at Tabernacle (Sunday, December 2 at 5:00 pm) is our largest presentation and will feature festive Christmas music led by the Tabernacle Choir & Orchestra, 1 st -6 th grade kids worship arts groups, a costumed nativity scene, and dramatic elements. Also, don’t miss the all-church Christmas reception in Fellowship Hall immediately following the concert.

Silent Lord’s Supper (Sunday, December 23 at 5:00 pm) is a meditative time to observe The Lord’s Supper without spoken words or singing. This shorter service will be accompanied by instrumental music and will focus our hearts around specific scripture passages and prayers.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service (Monday, December 24 at 5:00 pm) is an exciting time as we share in the joy of Christ’s coming to earth. This family service will feature carol singing, the reading of the Christmas story for kids, and a mass candle lighting at the end of the service.
Choir Christmas Music
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sing in the choir? Join us for a short-term commitment as we sing Christmas music this December. Christmas rehearsals have begun on Wednesday nights, and we would love for you to be a part of our Christmas at Tabernacle presentation on December 2. Email james.kimmel@tabernacle.org with questions.
Senior Adult Annual Thanksgiving Dinner
The Rockridge Senior Adult Annual Thanksgiving Dinner is Thursday, November 1, at 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Rockridge Baptist Assembly. The bus will depart Tabernacle at 10:00 a.m. Sign up at the table in the hallway or call Marie in the church office. The cost is $8.00.
College Ministry Retreat
The College Ministry is retreating to Woodland Christian Camp, November 3-4, for worship, bible study, and group activities. Please prayer for these students as they grow in their faith.
Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child Boxes
Operation Christmas Child boxes are now available in the hallway outside of the worship center. Our church is hoping to provide 300 filled boxes to kids all over the world, and we’re counting on Sunday School classes to set class goals. Please bring your filled box back to the tables in the main hallway by collection day on November 11.

Community Needs
Open Hands, our community food and assistance center, needs pop-top meats and fruits, unscented baby wipes, and clean, used stuffed animals. Alice's House, a local children's home, needs gaming chairs and throw pillows. Items can be dropped off in the hallway by the Fellowship Hall.
