2020 NOW Celebration
Come join us on March 3, 12:15 PM in the Fellowship Hall for the 2020 NOW Celebration along with a church-wide lunch. Grilled chicken breasts, rolls, and drinks will be provided. Each family is asked to bring a side dish or dessert. Updates will be announced about 2020 NOW, the Rachael Wood estate, and information about our spring discipleship classes.
Movie Night
There will be a church-wide showing of the movie, War Room, Sunday, March 10 at 5:00 PM in the Worship Center. The movie stars Karen Abercrombie, who will be speaking at the Women's Celebration event, An Evening With Miss Clara , on March 21.

Moonlight Madness
Training for all Sunday School Bible Study teachers, officers, and other class leaders will be Friday, March 1, 5:45 - 9:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Specialists will be speaking about discovering ways to grow classes. Supper will be provided. Childcare is available. Please call Crystal in the church office to sign up for childcare by February 24.

Kids Worship Arts Spring Concert & Musical
Come support our kids as they lead out in worship on Sunday night, March 24 at 5 PM. Our 4 and 5 year olds will be presenting their Spring Concert and our 1st - 5th graders will be presenting "Unselfie", a musical where they learn the importance of being unselfish in today's selfie world, by sharing the transforming love of Christ. Drama and puppets will be featured as well and you won't want to miss this night!
An Evening with Miss Clara
Karen Abercrombie, award winning actress from the movie War Room, will be sharing at Tabernacle on Thursday, March 21 from 6 - 8 PM. A highly sought after speaker and storyteller, Karen will share her topic: "You Are A Masterpiece". Tickets are available beginning March 1 through the church office or at Eventbrite.com. Program plus meal price is $25, program only price is $15. Meal reservation deadline is March 17. Please contact Marie Ragsdale in the church office for more information.
West Georgia BCM Dinner Theater
Sweet Eva From Flanders will be presented by The University of West Georgia's Baptist Collegiate Ministries on Saturday, March 2, at 7 PM (201 West GA Drive). This will be a melodramatic, allegorical look at the grand themes of the Bible. Come enjoy dinner and a play to help support summer missionaries.
D-NOW Youth Rally
March 8-9. The youth will participate in a discipleship weekend starting March 8 at
6 PM. Saturday, March 9, activities will include team building, discipleship breakout sessions, and a 6 PM youth rally service. There will be a parent information meeting on February 24 in the Fellowship Hall at 12:15 PM. Please see Pastor Wally for more information.
Weekday Preschool Registration
Registration starts March 11 in the TLC, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM for preschool children of church members and enrolled families. Registration that is open to the public starts March 14.
Senior Adult Luncheon
 The Senior Adult Luncheon is Tuesday, March 12 at 11:45 am in Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share. Meat, bread, and drinks are furnished. This month's program will be with Terri Hornsby who will discuss yoga for senior adults.
Senior Tax Luncheon
The senior tax luncheon is Sunday, March 24 from 12:00 - 1:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. This session is designed for anyone who is age 70 1/2 or older and files a tax return taking RMDs/Required Minimum Distributions from one or more IRA accounts. Lunch will be soup, sandwiches and dessert.
Community Needs
Open Hands, our community food and assistance center, needs toothpaste, baby wipes, canned chicken, canned tuna, and cereal . Alice's House, a local children's home, needs pens, puzzles, and books - middle grade & young adult. Items can be dropped off in the hallway by the Fellowship Hall.
