Movie Night

There will be a church-wide showing of the movie, War Room, on Sunday, March 10 at 5:00 PM in the Worship Center. The movie stars Karen Abercrombie, who will be speaking at the Women's Celebration event, An Evening With Miss Clara , on March 21.

DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY

Spring Adult Discipleship Opportunities

We have three new discipleship classes. Please contact Marie Ragsdale in the church office to register.

Witnessing Through Relationships to Family Members, Friends, Fellows, Foreigners and Foes , Leader Rob Sauls

Begins March 6, for 6 weeks. This 6-part study teaches you how to develop trustful relationships and how to share the gospel with those who are not immediately receptive to the gospel.

Bible Study: 1&2 Timothy , Leader Dr. Stephen Allen

Begins March 13, for 6 weeks. A must for Adult Sunday School teachers! Just as 1&2 Timothy gives guidance in the midst of powerful cultural forces, we need guidance for correct leading.

Love Unending: Rediscovering Your Marriage In The Midst of Motherhood

Morning classes are from February 27 through April 24, 8:45 - 10:15 AM. Evening classes begin March 6 through April 24, 6:00 PM. This bible study focuses on strengthening women, in the church and community, to be Godly wives. Books can be purchased in the church office for $10.

MUSIC AND WORSHIP MINISTRY

Kids Worship Arts Spring Concert & Musical

Come support our kids as they lead out in worship on Sunday, March 24 at 5 PM. Our 4 and 5 year olds will be presenting their Spring Concert and our 1st - 5th graders will be presenting "Unselfie", a musical where they learn the importance of being unselfish in today's selfie world, by sharing the transforming love of Christ. Drama and puppets will be featured as well. You won't want to miss this night!

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

An Evening with Miss Clara

Karen Abercrombie, award winning actress from the movie War Room, will be sharing at Tabernacle on Thursday, March 21 from 6 - 8 PM. A highly sought after speaker and storyteller, Karen will share her topic: "You Are A Masterpiece". Tickets are available beginning March 1 at Eventbrite.com . STUDENT MINISTRY

D-NOW Youth Rally

March 8-9. The youth will participate in a discipleship weekend starting March 8 at

6 PM. Saturday, March 9, activities will include team building, discipleship breakout sessions, and a 6 PM youth rally service. Please see Pastor Wally for more information.

COLLEGE MINISTRY

College & Career Skating Party

The college and career ministry will have their spring party at Spinnerz Family Skate Center, located at 117 N Hwy 113 in Carrollton, on Sunday, March 31, 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Admission, skate rental, and dinner will be provided. Contact Michelle Busby to sign up - [email protected]

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Weekday Preschool Registration

Registration starts March 11 in the TLC, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM for preschool children of church members and enrolled families. Registration that is open to the public starts March 14.

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY

Senior Adult Luncheon

The Senior Adult Luncheon is Tuesday, March 12 at 11:45 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share. Meat, bread, and drinks are furnished. This month's program will be with Terri Hornsby who will discuss yoga for senior adults.

Senior Tax Luncheon

The senior tax luncheon is Sunday, March 24 from 12:00 - 1:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. This session is designed for anyone who is age 70 1/2 or older and files a tax return taking RMDs/Required Minimum Distributions from one or more IRA accounts. Lunch will be soup, sandwiches and dessert.

MISSIONS MINISTRY

Cumberland, KY Mission Trip

The Cumberland, KY mission trip will be July 7 - July 12. An informational meeting will be held on April 14, 4:00 - 5:00 PM, TLC room # 256. Final sign up date will be Sunday, May 5.

Community Needs

Open Hands, our community food and assistance center, needs cereal, pop top fruits, and unscented baby wipes. Alice's House, a local children's home, needs large skillets, over-sized sitting pillows, and locking file cabinets (with keys). Items can be dropped off in the hallway by the Fellowship Hall.
