Our Vision is to be Transformed by Christ and to see Transformation for Christ.
Please click the button below for tickets to our Christmas Eve Service on December 24. Before you select your tickets, please read the instruction message on Eventbrite as it will explain the entire process. Thank you for working with us through these challenges and we look forward to a wonderful service!
Our Christmas events this year will be an encouragement to all of us as we celebrate the hope that we find in Christ during this special time of year. Mark your calendar so you can be a part of these joyous celebrations. All of our events will be live-streamed on the church's website.

December 13 - Service of Consolation with The Lord's Supper (5 PM)
This worship service will be a new experience for us this year. The service will consist of three parts: we will read names of those church members and family members who have passed away this year, we will light candles to symbolize the emotions and burdens of this year, and we will take The Lord's Supper together. This service will be very meaningful as we have walked these months together. Childcare will be available for children 3 and younger. If you will not be coming in person and will be watching online, please contact Mary Lou Grimmett to have your loved one's name read during the service.

December 24 - Christmas Eve Service (5 PM)
The Christmas Eve service is always a meaningful time as we gather together to celebrate the coming of Christ to the world. We will sing Christmas carols, have a special moment for kids, and light candles at the end of the service. Free tickets will be required due to room capacity limits. Childcare will not be available as we encourage all families to worship together in the worship center.
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering provides the International Mission Board with funding for global ministry. Every penny given goes directly to missionaries on the field. The Mission Partnership Council has set Tabernacle’s goal for this year at $30,000 and we have raised $2,995.75 so far. Please prayerfully consider your contribution during this Advent season so we can help share the gospel around the world!
Christmas Store
We are still in need of volunteers to help with the Christmas Store as volunteers on the night of the event and shoppers to purchase items now. The Christmas Store will be a drive-through distribution this year due to COVID-19. Click the button for the sign-up form to help us make this Christmas special for these families.
Poinsettia Sale
It is now time for the yearly poinsettia sale to decorate the Worship Center. Each plant is $15 and forms are now available in the church office or online. You can pay for the poinsettia by cash or check at the church office or with online giving by clicking HERE. The deadline for orders is Wednesday, December 9. Click the button below for the online order form.
Senior Adult Christmas Card Exchange
The Senior Adult Christmas Card Exchange box will be relocated this year to the Life Center. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will have new protocols in place. The box will be available in December for the exchange. Please take your cards to the Life Center and either leave them at the Welcome Desk, or put them in the marked slots in the box. Once a week a team will gather the cards, divide them by family name, and put them on tables in the Heritage Room for you to pick up after worship services.
Minister to Students Search
Our Minister to Students search committee has been meeting, developing a candidate profile, and is now ready to receive resumes. If you know of someone who may be interested in the position, please submit a recommendation or resume to employment@tabernacle.org. More details can be found at tabernacle.org/employment.
Ongoing Donation Needs for December

Giving During COVID-19
The ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church continues during this difficult season for our world. Even with an altered meeting schedule, we would like to encourage you to give normal tithes and offerings as God leads. Our office is now open to the public. You may drop off gifts at the church office during regular office hours, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (please note that we have discontinued using the locked drop box now that the offices have reopened). You may also give in person during the Family Worship Services, mail in your gift, give online by clicking the button below, or text "tabernacle150" to 73256.
