Our Vision is to be Transformed by Christ and to see Transformation for Christ.
No Wednesday Night Activities
There will be no Wednesday night activities this week, February 17, due to Winter Break. Normal Wednesday activities will resume on February 24.
Community Service Outreach Survey
We need your help! The Mission Partnership Council and the Community Action Team are conducting a survey to get a better understanding of congregational involvement and interest in the areas of service and evangelism. Your feedback will aid us as we plan to reengage in our missional efforts. Click the link below to access the survey, which will only take about 5 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for helping us better equip our membership in fulfilling the Great Commission as a church!
Lord's Supper This Sunday
We will observe The Lord's Supper during the worship service on February 21. The elements will be in a single-use, prepackaged container and we will not pass the trays. We look forward to celebrating Christ's sacrifice for us even as we temporarily change the way we observe this important ordinance. If you are watching from home, you can either use your own bread and juice or you can come by the help desk at the church to pick up the elements.
Parent's Night Out
The children's ministry is hosting a parent's night out on Friday, March 5 from 6-9 PM. The cost is $10 per child, and age range is toddlers through 5th grade. Parents should provide supper for their children. Reservations are required and the deadline is Wednesday, March 3. Please make reservations with Crystal Gilley at crystal.gilley@tabernacle.org.
Breathe Mid-Week Worship Service
We all need a space to pause our busy lives, take a deep breath, and reflect on God’s calling for each of us. Starting March 3, 2021, we’ll be offering a weekly opportunity for you to do that through Breathe, a Mid-Week Worship Service. Occurring simultaneously with Children’s WAM and Student Connect programs on Wednesday Nights, we will meet in the Tabernacle Chapel at 6:00 PM for a time of worship led by Pastor James and biblical reflection with Pastor Stephen.
Organizational Meeting for Praying Painters
Bring your ideas on March 4 at 1PM in Fellowship Hall. This is a group of people who will pray and paint together. We will start with basic painting techniques facilitated by Kandy Baker. Masks are required.
