A Night of Hope
The holiday season is a time of celebration, but it can also be a time of hardship for many who are navigating life-threatening diseases or who have lost loved ones. Join us, Sunday, January 27 at 5:00 pm, for a night of hope for better days are here. Speakers Kay Gann, Tim and Dawn Criswell will discuss the adversities they have encountered and overcame. Reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. Please complete the online form if childcare is needed.
Christmas Decoration Removal
We could use a few extra hands to help take down our church’s Christmas decorations. If you are able to help on Wednesday, January 2, please let shirley.humphries@tabernacle.org know, and we will provide details to you.

Why do you sing at church? It's a question we almost never ask out loud. Yet, it is a question central to the lives of Christians who regularly gather together for worship.

Friday Morning Bible Study
The Friday Morning Bible Study will resume Friday, January 11 at 9:30 am in room 209. The class study is Angels by David Jeremiah. Evalyn Parrish will facilitate. If interested in purchasing a book, the cost is $10.
Senior Adult Chili & Soup Lunch
The Senior Adult Chili & Soup Lunch is Tuesday, January 8 at 11:45 am in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite soup or chili and a dessert.
Community Needs
Open Hands, our community food and assistance center, needs pop-top meats, deodorant, and toothpaste. Alice's House, a local children's home, needs bed pillows, window curtains, and decorative floor rugs. Items can be dropped off in the hallway by the Fellowship Hall.
