Our Vision is to be Transformed by Christ and to see Transformation for Christ.
Vacation Bible School Survey
Tabernacle Baptist Church is planning to offer our Vacation Bible School in-person on Wednesday, June 9 through Friday, June 11 from 9 AM-12 PM each day. VBS registration will not be open to the general public, but will be open to church family members as we anticipate having to observe COVID protocols. We need each person or family to fill out the survey by clicking the link below as we determine if we will be able to offer Vacation Bible School this year.
Time Change Sunday
Don't forget to SPRING FORWARD one hour this Sunday, March 14 in order to be on time to Sunday School and the worship service. For the first time ever, we will be providing coffee in our welcome center to help you make it through the time change!
Breathe Mid-Week Worship Service
We all need a space to pause our busy lives, take a deep breath, and reflect on God’s calling for each of us. We are offering a weekly opportunity for you to do that through Breathe, a Mid-Week Worship Service. Occurring simultaneously with Children’s WAM! and Student Connect programs on Wednesday Nights, we will meet in the Tabernacle Chapel at 6 PM for a time of worship led by Pastor James and biblical reflection with Pastor Stephen.
Work Day
We will be having another church work day on Saturday, March 20 starting at 8 AM. We will be doing various outdoor building and grounds work. Lunch will be provided. If you have questions, please contact Stanley Moody.
Youth DNOW
We will have a shortened DNOW on Sunday, March 21, from 4-7 PM in the Life Center. Activities will include discipleship breakout sessions, games, and a great opportunity for you to build relationships with other youth. Dinner will be provided. For more information, please contact Wally Dedman.
Tabernacle's Egg-cellent Adventure
Calling all Easter Egg Hunters! Gather together at the pavilion on Sunday, March 28 right after the worship service for a pizza luncheon followed by an Easter Egg Hunt. We'll have tables and chairs, or bring a quilt and have a pizza picnic! Families with young children should sign up with Mrs. Dana by Friday, March 26. Crafts, pizza, candy, eggs, and hunting--sounds like an EGG-cellent adventure for sure!
Annie Armstrong
We have begun our Annie Armstrong Easter offering emphasis for North American missions. Every dollar of this offering goes to support our Baptist missionaries serving in North America. Our church's goal this year is $20,000 and we will receive the funds through Easter Sunday. Please prayerfully consider contributing in addition to your normal tithes and offerings.
How's Your One
The "How's Your One?" initiative is a follow-up to the "Who's Your One?" initiative from February 2020. This year, we will focus on intentionally sharing the Gospel with friends and neighbors who need to know the love of Christ. The prayer wall is back up in the Welcome Center and is available for you to add a name or pray for someone else's "one."
Easter Lilies
Help decorate our church on Easter Sunday by purchasing an Easter Lily in honor or memory of a loved one. Each plant is $15, and order forms may be found at the Help Desk in the Welcome Center. The deadline is Sunday, March 28. Plants can be taken home after the worship service on Easter Sunday, April 4. Lilies can be paid for with cash, check, or online giving.
Tabber Dabbers Paint Group
Do you love to paint or want to learn how? Join the Tabber Dabbers paint group. The group will meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, starting March 11 at 1 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
