Our Vision is to be Transformed by Christ and to see Transformation for Christ.
Please click the button below for free tickets to our Christmas Eve Service on December 24. Only a few tickets remain for the service. Thank you for working with us through these challenges, and we look forward to a wonderful evening!
December 24 - Christmas Eve Service (5 PM)
The Christmas Eve service is always a meaningful time as we gather together to celebrate the coming of Christ to the world. We will sing Christmas carols, have a special moment for kids, and light candles at the end of the service. Free tickets will be required due to room capacity limits. Childcare will not be available as we encourage all families to worship together in the worship center. The service will be live-streamed on the church's website.
Office Closed
Merry Christmas from the Tabernacle Staff! The church office will be closed on December 24 & 25 for Christmas, and January 1 for New Years Day. Additionally, the office will close at 1 PM on December 23 and reopen on December 28.
Watch Christmas at Tabernacle
In celebration of the Christmas season, the entire Christmas at Tabernacle music presentation is now online for this week only! CLICK HERE to view the recording of the service.
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering provides the International Mission Board with funding for global ministry. Every penny given goes directly to missionaries on the field. The Mission Partnership Council has set Tabernacle’s goal for this year at $30,000 and we have raised $30,051.57 so far. Please prayerfully consider your contribution during this Advent season so we can help share the gospel around the world!
No Wednesday Night Activities December 16, 23, 30
Thank you for a great semester. Our children had a fun WAM! performance last week and our choir is taking a break from Wednesday rehearsals until January. All Wednesday night activities will resume on Wednesday, January 6, and we will keep you updated over the next few weeks with more information.
Poinsettias in the Worship Center
Thank you to all who purchased poinsettias this year to decorate our worship center. They will be during our Christmas Eve service. Please feel free to take your poinsettia after the Christmas Eve service to enjoy at home. Since we will not be distributing a list of names this year, we have made it available electronically by clicking the button below. The names will also be displayed on slides in the Worship Center.
No Sunday School Dec. 27
We will not have a Sunday morning Bible study on December 27. We will still have our regular Sunday morning worship service at 11 AM.
Christmas Decoration Takedown
We need volunteers to help remove the Christmas decorations in the church on January 6 from 6-7 PM. If you are available to help, please contact james.kimmel@tabernacle.org.
Senior Adult Christmas Card Exchange
The Senior Adult Christmas Card Exchange box will be relocated this year to the Life Center. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will have new protocols in place. The box will be available in December for the exchange. Please take your cards to the Life Center and either leave them at the Welcome Desk, or put them in the marked slots in the box. Once a week a team will gather the cards, divide them by family name, and put them on tables in the Heritage Room for you to pick up after worship services.

Giving During COVID-19
The ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church continues during this difficult season for our world. Even with an altered meeting schedule, we would like to encourage you to give normal tithes and offerings as God leads. Our office is now open to the public. You may drop off gifts at the church office during regular office hours, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (please note that we have discontinued using the locked drop box now that the offices have reopened). You may also give in person during the Family Worship Services, mail in your gift, give online by clicking the button below, or text "tabernacle150" to 73256.
Guidelines for Year-End Giving
The IRS requires that contributions credited to your 2020 contribution statement must be in the church office no later than midnight on Thursday, December 31.
