Our Vision is to be Transformed by Christ and to see Transformation for Christ.
As Pastor Stephen mentioned in his Bread for the Journey article last week, we would like for each Tabernacle attender to fill out the following survey. Please click the button to access the survey.
We have had a great start to our modified Wednesday night schedule. All activities are physically distanced with COVID-19 protocols. If you are coming with children, please check-in at the desk on the 1st floor. There will not be a Wednesday night meal for the foreseeable future, but we will continue to look at ways of expanding ministry activities in the weeks to come.

Minister to Students Search
Our Minister to Students search committee has been meeting, developing a candidate profile, and is now ready to receive resumes. If you know of someone who may be interested in the position, please submit a recommendation or resume to employment@tabernacle.org. More details can be found at tabernacle.org/employment.
Church Conference Vote
The church will vote on the expenditure plan during a called Church Conference at the end of the worship service on Sunday, September 27 without discussion.
Children's Bible Presentation this Sunday
Our church will recognize our 4-year olds, Kindergarteners, and first graders as they "officially" begin attending big church for the first time. Many of these children have already been doing a great job in worship over the last few months and we will celebrate this milestone this Sunday, September 20. Bibles will be presented in person or at home for those who are not joining us in person. Sunday School teachers are contacting each family in preparation for Sunday.
Children's Ole McDermitt's Farm Trip
All families with children in 5th grade and younger are invited for an evening of fun at Ole McDermitt's Farm on Friday, October 2. Bring a picnic supper and join us anytime from 4:30-7:30 PM. Cost per person is $10. Sign up and make payment to Tabernacle by September 27. Contact Dana Harman for more information.
Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study
The M.E.S.S. women's Bible study will begin on September 16 at 8:45 AM at the Pavilion. The study book will be "Jesus and Women" by Kristi McLelland. It is a thoughtful look at several of Jesus' interactions with women in the Bible that will help fuel your worship of the Living God. Childcare will be provided by reservation only and reservations must be made each week by noon on Monday.
Forge: Men's Fellowship
All men are invited to Forge Men’s Fellowship for Bible study, prayer, and opportunities to connect with other men in our church. Meetings will be each Tuesday at 6:30 AM in the Welcome Center.
Our Journey of Hope
Our Cancer Support Ministry is resuming meeting in person with physical distancing procedures! The next meeting is Wednesday, September 16 at 6 PM. Contact rob.sauls@tabernacle.org for event meeting room details.

Giving During COVID-19
The ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church continues during this difficult season for our world. Even with an altered meeting schedule, we would like to encourage you to give normal tithes and offerings as God leads. Our office is now open to the public. You may drop off gifts at the church office during regular office hours, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (please note that we have discontinued using the locked drop box now that the offices have reopened). You may also give in person during the Family Worship Services, mail in your gift, give online by clicking the button below, or text "tabernacle150" to 73256.
