Our Vision is to be Transformed by Christ and to see Transformation for Christ.
CHRISTMAS AT TABERNACLE
Save the Date: Christmas at Tabernacle
Our Christmas events this year will be an encouragement to all of us as we celebrate the hope that we find in Christ during this special time of year. Mark your calendar so you can be a part of these joyous celebrations.

December 6 - Christmas at Tabernacle (5 PM)
The Tabernacle Choir & Orchestra and our children's worship arts groups will lead in a night of inspiring Christmas music. Free tickets will be required due to room capacity limits and ticket information will be released next week. Childcare will be available for children age 3 and younger.

December 13 - Service of Consolation with The Lord's Supper (5 PM)
This worship service will be a new experience for us this year. The service will consist of three parts: we will read names of those church members and family members who have passed away this year, we will light candles to symbolize the emotions and burdens of this year, and we will take The Lord's Supper together. This service will be very meaningful as we have walked these months together. Childcare will be available for children 3 and younger.

December 24 - Christmas Eve Service (5 PM)
The Christmas Eve service is always a meaningful time as we gather together to celebrate the coming of Christ to the world. We will sing Christmas carols, have a special moment for kids, and light candles at the end of the service. Free tickets will be required due to room capacity limits. Childcare will not be available as we encourage all families to worship together in the worship center.
UPCOMING DATES
Christmas Store
It's time for the Christmas Store again and we have modified modified the process to ensure the safety and health of all involved due to COVID-19. The sign-up list is digital this year and can be accessed by clicking the button below. If you sign up to serve a child or family, you will be contacted soon. Because of our modified procedures, we are only asking for toys and clothing for families this year. The Christmas Store will be a drive-through style distribution. All items must be turned in by November 29 so that there is time to prepare for the December 10 event day. Click the button below for the sign-up form.
Church Christmas Decoration
We need lots of workers this Sunday, November 22 from 4-6 PM as we decorate the church and our new spaces for the Christmas season. Care will be provided for children so that young adults can participate this year! If you have questions, please contact james.kimmel@tabernacle.org.
Lord's Supper on November 22
We will observe The Lord's Supper during the worship service this week. The
elements will be in a single-use, prepackaged container and we will not pass the trays. We look forward to celebrating Christ's sacrifice for us as we temporarily change the way we observe this important ordinance. If you are watching from home, you can either use your own bread and juice or you can come by the help desk at the church to pick up the elements.
Poinsettia Sale
It is now time for the yearly poinsettia sale to decorate the Worship Center. Each plant is $15 and forms are now available in the church office or online. You can pay for the poinsettia by cash or check at the church office or with online giving by clicking HERE. The deadline for orders is Wednesday, December 9. Click the button below for the online order form.
Men's Work Day
We will be having a work day to help with various indoor and outdoor projects around the church. Anyone of any age is welcome to come help, and no experience is needed in order to help. We will meet at 8 AM on Saturday, November 21 in the Welcome Center.
Minister to Students Search
Our Minister to Students search committee has been meeting, developing a candidate profile, and is now ready to receive resumes. If you know of someone who may be interested in the position, please submit a recommendation or resume to employment@tabernacle.org. More details can be found at tabernacle.org/employment.
