Our Vision is to be Transformed by Christ and to see Transformation for Christ.
Our Sunday School classes are enjoying Bible study and fellowship again. There are two links below that contain more information on the classes available. The first link has a list of the classes returning and where they will be meeting, as most classes will not be in their previous locations. The second link will be the guidelines for returning to in-person Sunday School.
Our modified Wednesday night schedule is allowing us to fellowship and study the Bible in deeper ways. All activities are physically distanced with COVID-19 protocols. If you are coming with children, please check-in at the desk on the 1st floor.

Save the Date: Christmas at Tabernacle
Our Christmas events this year will be an encouragement to all of us. More information will be coming soon about each event, but please mark your calendar so you can be a part of our Christmas celebrations.

December 6 - Christmas at Tabernacle (5 PM)
December 13 - Service of Consolation with The Lord's Supper (5 PM)
December 24 - Christmas Eve Service (5 PM)
Men's Work Day
We will be having a work day to help with various indoor and outdoor projects around the church. Anyone of any age is welcome to come help, and no experience is needed in order to help. We will meet at 8 AM on Saturday, November 21 in the Welcome Center.
Lord's Supper on November 22
We will observe The Lord's Supper during the worship service on November 22. The
elements will be in a single-use, prepackaged container and we will not pass the trays. We look forward to celebrating Christ's sacrifice for us as we temporarily change the way we observe this important ordinance. If you are watching from home, you can either use your own bread and juice or you can come by the help desk at the church to pick up the elements.
Operation Christmas Child
Tabernacle is participating in Operation Christmas Child again this year! Shoe boxes are available at the help desk along with information sheets about what should be included in the boxes. Filled boxes are due back by this Sunday, November 15 and Tabernacle's goal is 200 shoe boxes again this year. Each filled box should be accompanied with a $9 donation per box to help offset the shipping cost.
Christmas Store
It's time for the Christmas Store again and we have modified modified the process to ensure the safety and health of all involved due to COVID-19. The sign-up list is digital this year and can be accessed by clicking the button below. If you sign up to serve a child or family, you will be contacted soon. Because of our modified procedures, we are only asking for toys and clothing for families this year. The Christmas Store will be a drive-through style distribution. All items must be turned in by November 29 so that there is time to prepare for the December 10 event day. Click the button below for the sign-up form.
Church Christmas Decoration
Save the date for Sunday, November 22 from 4-6 PM. We will need lots of workers as we decorate the church and our new spaces for the Christmas season. Care will be provided for children so that young adults can participate this year! If you have questions, please contact james.kimmel@tabernacle.org.
Minister to Students Search
Our Minister to Students search committee has been meeting, developing a candidate profile, and is now ready to receive resumes. If you know of someone who may be interested in the position, please submit a recommendation or resume to employment@tabernacle.org. More details can be found at tabernacle.org/employment.
Ongoing Donation Needs for November
Donations can be dropped off in the missions hallway bins.

Open Hands (our community food and assistance center):
Size 5 and 6 diapers and canned meats and fruits.
Giving During COVID-19
The ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church continues during this difficult season for our world. Even with an altered meeting schedule, we would like to encourage you to give normal tithes and offerings as God leads. Our office is now open to the public. You may drop off gifts at the church office during regular office hours, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (please note that we have discontinued using the locked drop box now that the offices have reopened). You may also give in person during the Family Worship Services, mail in your gift, give online by clicking the button below, or text "tabernacle150" to 73256.
