The best nativity pageant EVER on your kitchen table!
COMING SOON...
Tabletop Nativity Pageant!
Camp Hill Presbyterian Church
Yes, we're disappointed to cancel our Christmas Eve Story Walk in light of COVID-19 restrictions. But...we still have something very special planned for December 24 that will probably never happen again.
Tabletop Nativity Pageant is the "Best Christmas Pageant EVER on Your Kitchen Table!"
In a video airing Christmas Eve, The Rev. Nancy Conklin and Lindsay Gottwald, Director of Youth and Christian Education will walk household groups through an at-home sacred experience. Each household can gather to sing Christmas carols and tell the story of Jesus' birth using a nativity set and a candle. A link to the video will be posted at www.camphillpres.org on December 24.
What if I don't have a nativity set at home?
If you don't have a nativity set at home (or your set is fragile and precious to you,) we encourage you to create a "minimalist nativity" set from items around the house--knickknacks, kitchen or bathroom staples, Barbie dolls or Matchbox cars--it's up to you.
Because nothing can stop the miracle of Christmas--even 2020.
Watch and share videos from Lindsay about her minimalist nativity made from kitchen items this week on Facebook and Instagram.
Don't forget to share pictures of your nativity set (whether purchased or homemade.) Email photos to Lindsay Gottwald at lgottwald@thechpc.com or share publicly to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #TabletopPageant2020. We'll share photos on social media as we prepare for the Tabletop Nativity Pageant on December 24.
