FAST FERRY SERVICE COMING TO TACOMA?
Kitsap Transit launched a passenger-only Fast Ferry from Kingston to Seattle last month. At-Large City Councilmember Ryan Mello conducted a 'Tacoma Fast Ferry Feasibility Study' for a Tacoma to Seattle route showing there is a possibility.

RELIVE NYE COMING TO DOWNTOWN
On December 31, the City of Tacoma and Downtown: On the Go! are partnering with Kim Archer and Foster’s Creative to bring ReLive NYE to Tollefson Plaza. This event is a monument to the enduring joy of New Year’s Eve, and beauty of our community.

Camo2Commerce   offers several different employment and training programs for transitioning service members and active duty spouses including the WorkEx program. 
 
Veteran friendly companies can apply to host service members and spouses for an 8 week program. A successful WorkEx experience could lead to further support of a compensated on-the-job training for the service member or spouse.

SPACEWORKS GRADUATION
We’re pleased to announce the newest entrepreneurs graduating from the Business Planning Cohort, just one of the many programs we offer in our Spaceworks Incubator. Over the past 12 weeks, nine entrepreneurs and small business owners have determined the feasibility of their business ideas, researched their markets, created marketing and financial plans, and determined their launch or growth strategies.

950 GALLERY CLOSING EXHIBITION
Did you know that the Chamber supports a downtown art gallery? Managed through Spaceworks, the 950 Gallery features exhibitions from local and regional artists. Join us for Barry Johnson’s closing reception on Thursday, December 20.

The Chamber  takes a group of member investors to the nation's capital so that area business leaders and civic officials can participate in meetings with our Congressional delegation, military officials, and federal agency representatives.
