Celebrate the Fourth at Tacoma's Summer Blast

Tacoma’s 4th of July celebration is back on the waterfront!

This annual event takes place on Dune Peninsula and the iconic Ruston Way Waterfront and features two distinct event footprints, over 150 vendors, 2 stages and a 20-minute firework display. This event is the largest free community event in the South Sound.

Celebrate Independence Day with a Fireworks display on Commencement Bay!

Firework display on Commencement Bay to take place at dark (approx 10 pm). It will be visible along all of Ruston Way!

4th of July Low Tide Alert
A near record-low tide in the middle of the day on Tuesday, July 4th will close the boat lifts for hours and limit launch traffic at Point Defiance Marina.
