TCPUD Receives CSDA Outreach Award

The Tahoe City Public Utility District is thrilled to announce that it was awarded the 2023 CSDA Exceptional Outreach and Advocacy Award in the Large District Category for its efforts to raise awareness of the importance of water infrastructure for fire suppression and its ongoing initiatives and action to protect communities from wildfire.

In partnership with the Tahoe Water for Fire Suppression Partnership which includes the North Tahoe Public Utility District and the South Tahoe Public Utility District, the award acknowledges measurable success in raising awareness of the importance of water infrastructure for fire suppression at local, state, and federal levels. The District accepted the award in August during the California Special District's Association Annual Conference in Monterey, CA.

TCPUD Board of Directors and General Manager with CSDA Award (L to R): TCPUD Board Member Ellie Beals, TCPUD Board Member John Pang, TCPUD Board President Dan Wilkins, TCPUD Board Member Gail Scoville, TCPUD Board Member Judy Friedman, TCPUD General Manager Sean Barclay.

Celebrating Water Pros and 85 Years of Service to Our Community!

Thank You, TCPUD Water Pros

TCPUD and Californians came together October 7 - 15 to honor the remarkable work of water industry professionals and local public water agencies, who are passionately dedicated to providing clean, reliable, and high-quality drinking water, as well as safe wastewater and recycled water services throughout the state.

Even though the week has come to an end, it’s never too late to appreciate the hard work done by your TCPUD water professionals and show them some love. Thank you, TCPUD water pros, and all water pros across California, for providing a service that is essential to the world we live in.
