Tailgate with Smoked
Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Smoked Pulled Pork
Smoke your pork shoulders or pork butts ahead of time and pull with two forks.
Add SmokinTex BBQ Sauce and put your smoked pulled pork into a large crock pot and take to the game with buns and all the fixins. A nice warm smoked sandwich is just the right touch for a brisk day at the stadium. We promise they will be a hit!
1 Tbs Salt
1 Tbs Pepper
1 Tbs Brown Sugar
1 Tbs Sugar
1 Tbs Chili Powder
1 Tbs Paprika
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper

This pulled pork was smoked in our SmokinTex Model 1100.
We used a 3 pound pork shoulder, rubbed it and refrigerated overnight.

Here's a different variation on pulled pork by SmokinTex Forum member BDC.

SmokinTex Forum member Sundown sprays his wings with cooking spray (Pam) and dusts with Miners Mix Poultry Rub.
Chef Wil has a tip for crispy chicken or turkey skin.
Our SmokinTex customers love their smokers! And some have built altars to honor their stainless steel servant.

Keven L. created this beauty! Nice touch with the unbrella. The cabinet has lots of storage too!

Doug built this stand to elevate his SmokinTex 1500.

"Finished the stand, 28"x28" top, with 2"x2" edge, to keep dogs and critters from dragging the drain pan out during the night (yes it has happened :-) ). Holds 500 lbs."

Doug C.

SmokinTex Forum member Baltimorebayside created this homemade cart with sidehooks and wheels for his SmokinTex model 1400. Nice!

Another great design by J. Poff.
This unique cart is by V. Johnston. It wins the the artistic award for that cute little smoke house cover.

Ivan B. created this interesting setup. He has guided the smoke away from his patio with aluminum vent pipe.
