Friends & Neighbors:
Time is running out for the Waccamaw Neck! We need your help to save our community before it's too late.
This short video uses time-lapse photography to portray decades of unfettered, haphazard, and inappropriate development that has resulted in the nightmare of traffic, stormwater, and flooding that local residents encounter every day.
The new increased density Comprehensive Land Use Plan, adopted by county officials over the objection of citizens, paves the way for these problems to become much worse. The stage is set to become Myrtle Beach South.
KIG and KIGA work hard to represent the voice of the people and to hold Georgetown County legally accountable when it fails to follow state law or proper procedure in zoning and land use decisions. No matter where you live on the Waccamaw Neck, KIG and KIGA have made a positive difference in your neighborhood.
Our work is effective and it is making a difference, but it cannot happen without your continued support.
